Sno Gem’s Project of the Month

The FIFA World Cup has come to an end and the US Women are the champions of the international football competition. It is beyond fitting to show off the snow retention included in the new construction on the Minnesota field. Allianz Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Saint Paul, Minnesota, home to Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer. The field was designed by Populous and opened on April 13, 2019, during the club’s third MLS season. With 1.9 Million Minnesotans within 33 miles of the stadium, securing a snow fall is an extremely important concern.

Fun Fact – The Sno Gem team includes a few dedicated soccer fans and athletes, including one of the owners, Dan Smeja, and Senior Account Executive, Mari Macias. Allianz Field hosted the Gold Cup on June 18th, 2019. The Gold Cup occurs every two years and determines the continental champion of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. This is the main association football competition of the Men’s National Football Teams covered by CONCACAF.
